Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling that something isn't quite right, your feelings are valid and deserve to be heard. Humanistic counselling in Dublin and online offers a supportive, compassionate space to begin that journey. I understand that vulnerability takes courage, and finding the right therapist is an important decision. As a therapist, I believe it’s essential to create a safe, empathetic space for you to explore—where you can feel truly heard, supported, and understood.
I work with adults (18+) both in-person and online across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. My approach blends humanistic and integrative therapy, which means I tailor our sessions to what works best for you. Sometimes you might need short-term support to work through a specific issue, while other times, a longer journey of self-discovery might feel right. Either way, we'll work together at your pace.
Every person's path to therapy is unique. Some come seeking clarity during life transitions, others want support with anxiety or depression, and many simply need a space to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Through my humanistic counselling in Dublin, I offer a collaborative, person-centred approach where you're the expert in your own experience.
Together, we can work through whatever brings you to therapy, whether that's relationship challenges, work stress, self-esteem issues, or personal growth. I also provide online therapy in Dublin for those who prefer the convenience of accessing support from their own space.
When we find ourselves struggling, therapy can offer a fresh perspective and new ways of understanding ourselves. Through our work together, you might discover more self-compassion, develop better coping strategies, or gain insights into patterns that no longer serve you.
Many of my clients find that having a dedicated space to explore their thoughts and feelings leads to more fulfilling relationships, improved emotional wellbeing, and a stronger sense of self.
I have experience supporting people through various life challenges, including, but not limited to:

How long do sessions last?
Each session lasts 50 minutes and typically takes place at the same time each week.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies for each person. Some clients find short-term therapy (6-12 sessions) helpful for specific issues, while others prefer longer-term work. We'll regularly review our work together to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to achieve. It's also an opportunity to ask any questions and start building our therapeutic relationship.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes, our sessions are strictly confidential. The only exceptions are if I believe there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. I'll always discuss these limitations with you.
What if I need to cancel a session?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee will be charged.
Can I do online sessions?
Yes, I offer both in-person counselling in Dublin and online therapy in Dublin for those who prefer a virtual option. Online therapy is conducted through a secure video platform, and I’ll provide all the necessary information to get set up.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you're questioning whether things could be different or better in your life, therapy might be helpful. The initial consultation is a good way to explore this further and see if it feels right for you.
What's the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?
While these terms are often used interchangeably, counselling typically focuses on specific current issues and might be shorter-term, while psychotherapy often involves deeper, longer-term work exploring patterns and past experiences. I'm trained in both approaches and can adapt our work to suit your needs.
